A Curse or a Gift?

Going into the Future ...

Well, who wouldn't want to see the future? Having the ability to predict what will happen and react differently to a certain scenario would most definitely be a gift, but with any gift comes a negative aspect.
What if you looked into the future and saw something disturbing, if you changed something in the present then the outcome would be different, which is a good thing. However, what if you saw something positive happen, and accidently reacted towards it because you already knew what was going to happen, well, that would be a bad thing.
Or what if you saw the future and had to hide information from someone you loved, knowing it would jeopordize their life? Wouldn't holding that information be cruel enough as it is? Or if you saw the future, predicted who would still be in your life, and avoided any distractions on your way ... well then, that'd also be fabulous. Then you wouldn't have to deal with people of no relevance whatsoever.
Seeing into the future would be both a curse and a gift. A gift because we'd all like to know the results before we act, to ensure that our actions are the right ones. However, a curse because knowing the future may just be too overwhelming to bare. But in conclusion, it would definitely be easier to just stay in this norm and let everything happen on its own .. and love life as it is.
